What we do

Everything between a draft and a shelf

Take one piece or the whole thing. Most authors start with an edit and keep going once they have seen how we work.

Ghostwriting

You have the story, the expertise or the memories. A writer who works in your genre turns them into a full manuscript in your voice — and your name is the only one on it.

Ghostwriting details

Editing

Structural, line, copy and proofreading — separately or as a run. Tracked changes you can accept or reject, plus a note explaining the thinking behind the bigger calls.

Editing details

Cover design

Covers built to sell in your genre and legible at thumbnail size, where the buying decision actually happens. Print wrap and ebook, source files handed over.

Cover design details

Formatting & interiors

Print and ebook files that pass retailer checks first time, with an interior that looks like a book instead of a word processor document.

Formatting details

Publishing

Metadata, categories, keywords and upload — into your accounts, so royalties reach you directly and nobody stands between you and your own book.

Publishing details

Launch & promotion

Blurb, author bio, media kit, review outreach and a launch plan you can actually follow — plus an author website or landing page if you need somewhere to send readers.

Launch details

Also available: beta reading and manuscript assessment, author websites and landing pages, logos, flyers, brochures, media kits and press releases. See the full list.

How it works

Five steps, and you can stop after any of them

Nothing is charged before it is agreed in writing, and nothing is agreed before you have seen what we can do with your own pages.

STEP 01

Tell us about the book

Genre, length, where it stands and where you want it to get to. Two minutes in the chat or the form.

STEP 02

Get a free sample

We edit a few of your pages, or sketch a cover concept, so you are judging real work on your own material.

STEP 03

Agree scope and price

Tell us your budget. You get a written quote listing exactly what is included, what is not, and how many revisions.

STEP 04

Watch it happen

Your dashboard shows the stage your project is at. You review as we go rather than seeing everything only at the end.

STEP 05

Publish and launch

Final files, uploads into your own accounts, and a launch plan. The book, the rights and the royalties are yours.

Before any money changes hands

See the work on your own book, free

Every portfolio looks good. The only fair test is what someone does with your pages.

  • Send up to 1,500 words and we will edit them properly — not a sample of what we could do, the actual thing.
  • Prefer a cover? We will sketch a concept for your title and genre.
  • No card details, no account required, nothing automatic afterwards.
  • If it is not right, say so and we part on good terms.

About price

We do not publish a price list, because a 40,000-word memoir that needs restructuring and a clean 90,000-word thriller that needs a proofread are not the same job, and pretending otherwise helps nobody.

Tell us your budget and we will be straight with you about what it covers, what it does not, and whether we are the right people at all.

You will always have a written quote listing every line item before you are asked to pay anything.

Our experts

The people who will actually do the work

Every project goes to a specialist in that discipline, not to whoever is free. You will know who is working on your book.

Questions

The things authors ask first

Who owns the book when you have finished?

You do. You keep the copyright, the royalties and the publishing accounts. We are a service you hire, not a publisher who takes a share. Ghostwritten work is yours outright, and we do not put our name on your book unless you want us to.

Can I see your work on my own book before I pay?

Yes, and we would rather you did. Send a few pages and we will edit them, or sketch a cover concept — at no cost and with no card details. You judge the real thing on your own material rather than a portfolio of someone else's.

How much does it cost?

It depends on length, condition, and how much of the work you want us to take on. Tell us your budget and we will tell you honestly what it covers and what it does not, before anything is agreed.

You will never be asked to pay against a vague description. Every quote lists the work line by line.

Do you publish the book for me?

We handle metadata, categories, keywords, file preparation and the upload itself — using your own retailer accounts, so you keep control and royalties reach you directly.

We are not affiliated with Amazon, KDP, or any retailer, and anyone claiming to be should worry you.

How long does it take?

A copy edit of an average novel usually runs one to three weeks. A cover is days. Ghostwriting a full book is months. You get a schedule in writing before work starts, and progress shows on your dashboard as it happens.

What if I do not like the work?

Revisions are built into every quote and the number is written down before you pay. You review at each stage rather than seeing the whole thing only at the end, so nothing arrives as a surprise.

Send us a few pages.

That is the whole first step. No card, no account, no obligation — just your work back, improved, so you can decide for yourself.
